If you use Instagram, you may not know how to create spaces on Instagram captions and on bios. If you are like me you will see influencers and even billion dollar brands making the mistake of using random characters to separate their photo caption and hashtags. It just looks ridiculous!

In this post we are going to show you how to make spaces in your posts and bios so that you do not have to use random characters or periods.

Why Use Proper Spaces on Instagram

If you are a professional business using Instagram for your business, you need all your posting to be error free in order to be perceived as a more valuable company. Let’s face it, if you are a business and post recklessly with errors in your social media posts, you will be perceived by your customers as a reckless, error prone company.

If you use the proper spaces on your Instagram bio and posts, your company IG page, your bio and posts will look clean and easier to read. If your posts are cleaner, you will also find that you will get more likes on your Instagram posts and more follows to your profile.

How Not To Use Instagram Spacers

It is likely that you would have seen companies use characters like bullet points, dashes, stars and emojis to lengthen their posts and bios between their captions and hashtags.

This simply looks like poor practice and in reality is off-putting to potential customers.

How To Create An Invisible Space On Instagram

If you want to create an invisible space on Instagram, all you must do is to use the correct amount of spaces by hitting the space bar the correct number of times.

If you have an Instagram post that you want to create and need to enter space, just do the following:

  1. Use the correct number of spaces or copy the following between the ^ symbols: ^   ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀^
  2. If you have copied the spaces above but copied the ^ symbols, just delete the ^ symbols
  3. Paste the same multiple times so that you get your post set out the way you want to post it. (Do not use the space bar when you are pasting these invisible spaces, or it will not format properly)
  4. Once you have added in enough space make sure your post is free of ^ symbols and proceed to add up to 30 hashtags.

How To Put Spaces In your Instagram Bio

The method mentioned above will work exactly the same for creating spaces in your Instagram bio as it does for posts. This method still works on Instagram today to make more spaces.

If you save this post to your bookmarks for your own reference you can come back and use the same number of spaces when editing your bio or IG posts in the future.
