Amazon is an online marketplace that offers free delivery to Ireland on orders over £25. Amazon do not have a Irish website per se however you can type in Amazon.ie and get redirected to the UK version of the site where Irish customers can purchase a majority of different items on offer from the marketplace. Despite having many employees in Ireland Amazon have not proceeded to create a service such as Amazon Ireland where Irish customers can buy items using the Euro currency.

Setting up your own Amazon Store

Did you know that you can set up your own Amazon store in Ireland?

You can do this two ways:

  1. Set up your own store and sell your own products
  2. Become an affiliate an set up an ecommerce store with an Amazon checkout.

If you have an Amazon account, you can sign up to become an affiliate with Amazon.co.uk.

To do this you need to set up a website and get your Amazon affiliate api credentials.

      Hi Eileen. Yes, they can use Amazon.co.uk or set up their delivery address on amazon.com and set delivery, you can then filter products that can be shipped to Ireland.

      Yep you can Jill, you add your own billing details and pay for it and add your daughters shipping details. Item will get sent to her.

    got a friend in Ireland and would buy him an Voucher to order.
    Does he order on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.ie and how and where can i get
    the Voucher off? In Euro presumely!

      It will be the Amazon.co.uk site and you can choose between Sterling or Euro currencies to pay.

          Once you get to the checkout, you can choose to pay by Euro. It will give you the price in Euro if you select, Euro as payment.

    Why can Amazon.co.uk not deliver perfume to an address in the Republic of Ireland?

      Possibly it is the seller who sells only to the UK and not to Ireland.
